I know that they tell you to plan ahead when you make your holiday plans, but sometimes I have found that booking last minute villas can be a really great deal sometimes. Of course, you run the risk of not finding anything available, but more often than not people who own these villas will have a last minute cancellation. When these places do not have people renting them then the owners lose money and they want to fill those gaps in as fast as possible. That is why the last minute deals are so great because the owners want their villa to be occupied all of the time. My wife and I love to stay in these places and when I retire I hope to be on a waiting list for these places almost all of the time. I could really get used to going there every time we got a good deal on a cancellation.
