Our local high school team in Oregonhas finally qualified for the district play-offs and everyone associated with the team including the support staff are thrilled. We decided to have a short video released using a teleprompter and post it on our school team’s website for the fans and ensure that we get more mileage for our efforts. Several of the teams players, the coach and the support staff were interviewed for the same and we also had our school principal Mr. Taylor give us a few minutes from his busy schedule. To get a better quality interview we decided to use the PromptDog teleprompter which was easy to setup and also very simple to use. This is the first time though that we have been using teleprompter and we liked it for its navigation and options. Some times we would have to make correction to the content of the interview. There is nothing or simpler than just opening the text of the interview and typing in the new text and saving it. Plus all that we needed was a laptop to run the software so there was no requirement for additional bulky hardware of any kind. The simple to use interface let us change the font size or the color of the font and even highlight the areas that we wanted our interviewee to put stress on.

We uploaded the videos to our website some time in the first week and by the end of the month had about 15,000 visitors who saw the video and left comments. We were looking forward to a new season of baseball in the district play offs and prior to that have been able to create just enough hype and hoopla around it. The teleprompter helped us in our endeavor in a long way to ensure that the quality of the interviews were great.
