If I was going to join a gym again, I wanted it to be one that provided some individualized attention. I started South Beach on October 27. I am down 8 lbs and just finished Phase 1. I am now starting Phase 2. When I started this I was at an all time high in my weight of 198. My goal is to get to 165. If I get there, I should say, when I get there, I might try to get to 150. I am 5’5″, 62 years old, just retired. I have hypothyroidism which tends to hinder my weight loss.
